Project/ Process Engineer

About the Role

Due to continued growth within our Project Services division, we are recruiting a Project Engineer to join our highly skilled team in a full time position.

The successful candidate must quickly grasp the project needs in order to meet client requirements as well as leverage their internal and external networks and technical capability to deliver package allocated to the Project Engineer function to a high standard while maintaining and building client relationships.

Your primary objectives are, but not limited to

  • Working with the project team to manage Project Engineer functions during tender and bidding process
  • Preparation of detailed cost estimates, MTOs breakdowns and RFQ proposals in line with project technical requirements.
  • Risk analysis, reviews, and subcontractor recommendations
  • Project delivery plans and project schedules implementations

About You

The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified mechanical engineer with history in the Construction SMP sector of the mining industry, and must have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Projects delivery background from tender phase
  • Site / Construction Experience.
  • Mining, Process and Water Filtration experince
  • Commitment to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Commitment to continual quality improvement.
  • High level computer skills (including CAD and MS Project/P6)
  • High attention to details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible to attend site when required

Business Development Manager

About the Role

Due to continued growth within our Project Services division, we are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our highly skilled team in a full-time position.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Secure new business opportunities aligned to the agreed annual sales targets and Company Growth Strategy
  • Assist regional business units and dealers to develop Capture Plans and respective win strategies for key tenders
  • Support contract negotiations for new business and contract renewals
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address any queries arising
  • Track new business development opportunities, utilising market knowledge and market intelligence tools to identify projects and new customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients and potential clients operating within the mining, process and water filtration and other industries to promote the services of the Company.
  • Represent CSD Services and Partners at trade shows, professional meetings and industry forums
  • Setup and attend demonstrations to educate potential clients and existing customers to drive new sales
  • Develop and maintain business development reporting tools in order to effectively communicate with and influence business leadership regarding any and all business development activity.
  • Responsible for providing up-to-date sales and forecasting reports through the corporate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Other duties as assigned
  • National and international travel – as required

About You

The ideal candidate will be a technical or business degree qualified with history in sector of the Mining Industry, Process and Water Filtration, and must have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Site / Construction Experience.
  • Experience managing/developing a Business
  • Demonstrated ability to generate good contacts and effectively utilise persuasive sales methodologies
  • Commitment to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Commitment to continual quality improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills.
